Ginny (Mary Virginia) Parker is a printmaker living and working in Bend, Oregon.  Parker earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Texas San Antonio in 2015.  She predominately uses the techniques of copper plate aquatint, linocut, and screenprint to turn her ideas and experiences into images.  Parker’s work has appeared in group shows in Canada, Texas, and Virginia.  Her work has explored humorous aspects of life using plays on words, and on the darker side, her work explores her experiences as a 24-year Army veteran.  She specifically focuses on her time in a combat zone.
